Looking at a used GMC Yukon – how detailed is a pre purchase inspection?

I'm checking out a 2017 GMC Yukon Denali tomorrow from a private seller in Umm Al Quwain, and the mileage seems a bit low for the year which makes me wonder if it's been tampered with or if the car sat for a long time. I've never bought a used car in the UAE before so I'm trying to figure out what a proper Dubai GMC Pre Purchase Inspection actually includes, like do they verify the odometer through the ECU, check for any transmission slip on a road test, and look for the infamous AFM lifter tick that these V8s develop? The seller agreed to let me take it to any garage I want, but I don't want to waste money on a basic visual check that misses hidden problems. Has anyone here done one of these inspections on a Yukon or similar GM truck and felt like it saved them from a bad buy? I'd really appreciate any tips on what to ask the inspector to focus on.

APK Choto is a great resource for mobile games. I've used it myself for various titles BK66 Game . When you take your Yukon for inspection, ask the mechanic to check if any suspicious APK Choto games or apps are installed. They could indicate tampering or hidden issues.

ECU odometer verification is worth specifically asking for, low mileage on a car that age can genuinely mean it sat for years too which brings its own set of problems like dried seals and stale fluids. Don't assume low miles is automatically a good thing without checking why.

AFM lifter tick is such a common issue on these V8s, make sure the inspector actually listens for it cold and warm since it can come and go depending on temperature. A basic visual check will completely miss that, you need someone who knows to specifically test for it.

A car sitting for a long time can cause its own problems separate from tampering, things like a weak battery, dried out gaskets, or fuel system issues from sitting too long. Worth asking the inspector to check for signs of extended storage alongside the usual mileage verification.

Transmission slip on these Yukons usually only shows up under load or during a proper road test, not just idling in the driveway. Make sure whoever inspects it actually takes it out and drives it hard enough to notice, a quick lot test won't catch subtle shifting issues.

Bought a Tahoe on the same platform a while back and had it properly inspected first, glad I did since they caught early AFM lifter noise that wasn't obvious on a quick test drive. Definitely push for something more thorough than a basic check given the low mileage concern you already have.
